Micheal Wolff and Damian Hopkins visited the new site of the first Hela Clothing factory in Chittagong, Bangladesh to approve plans and see progress of the construction of the woven factory that will open in the first quarter of 2011 with 200 machines; with further plans for a second phase of a further 200 machines.

Over 1,000 guests attended the sell out Licensing Awards Ball, hosted by comedian Chris Addison, held at London's Lancaster Hotel on the 9th September 2010, to witness which UK retailers, suppliers and licensors were feted with the licensing industry’s top accolades. The award for Best Licensed Children’s Apparel Range went to the Very Hungry Caterpillar Baby Range from Brecrest Babywear for TU Clothing at Sainsbury’s.Pictured here with the award is John Carolan kidswear buying manager for Sainsburys, and the Fielding Groups Commercial Director Damian Hopkins.

The Fielding Group are delighted to announce the acquisition of Brecrest Babywear Limited. Brecrest is a Manchester based babywear specialist that was established by Vincent Bloom in 1976, today the business employs over 30 people from the new offices in Cheetham Hill and holds a number of leading licenses including Disney, Very Hungry Caterpillar, Mr Men, Beatrix Potter, Gruffalo, In the Night Garden, Wibbly Pig, plus football licenses including Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. Vincent Bloom, MD of Brecrest commented that " I am delighted to be working with the team at the Fielding Group to continue to grow Brecrest into the leading babywear supplier in the UK".
